Be Merry!

Yay!!! I love this new templete! :) It makes me happy!! Well....I haven't posted in awhile, but I wanted to catch up on some things! I decided to play basketball. And yesterday, Springville played their first game at home against Lehi. It was a full sweep! JV's (the team I play on) final score was 59-37! I ended up getting at least 18 or 20 points! It was amazing! One of the best games I have ever played. I hope that we can keep that up throughout the whole season!

I also want to send out a shout out to everyone who was in Thourouly Modern Millie. You all did an amazing job! I was ver impressed and completely loved it!

And who isn't excited for THANKSGIVING!!! It is a marvelous thing to be able to sleep in! And lets just admit it, food is pretty much the best thing on the planet! :) Well, where ever you might be celebrating Thanksgiving this holiday season, have lots of laughs, smiles, hugs, and good times! I love you all! Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holiday's!

Confusion....

So I have been playing basketball ever since I was a tiny tyke-it is my dad's favorite sport, so that was to be expected. I don't remember a year that I haven't played on some sort of team if the team was available...but this year I am having great indecison on whether or not to try-out. I know that I won't be doing it in college and I am trying my hardest to make the right decision for my future. I know w/o bball I will have time to take some out of school sewing classes that will guide me on my path to wanting to become a fashion designer. But I also know that if I don't do bball I will miss it once the season starts, mostly becasue it has always been a huge part of my life.
So sorry to anyone if I have been grumpy or testy with you!!! I promise I wasn't trying to be! There has just been a TON a TON a TON of stuff going on and I have been stressed out! I promise things will get better after I make this very important decision and get the rest of my crazy life straightened out! I love you all and if you have any suggestions or even just comforing words/quotes--I would be happy to hear them! Loves!

Fun fun fun!

So, my dad got the camera's to work, so I get to show off the rest of my pictures! Yay!

The first set of dance pictures were from Jeremy's (the kid I met at Education Week at the begining of the school year) Homecoming! He is already graduated from High School and going on a mission to Riverside, California on December 10th, but he went back to his school's Homecoming! It was such a fun night!! We went ice skating, then went home and got changed, then to Los Hermonos (sp?) for dinner and then to his school for the dance! I had an amazing time! I also absolutely LOVED my dress!! I got it for $30 at Mariposa and spent a good day making the slivery jacket!! :) Another fun thing was that my sparkly shoes that matched perfectly were only a $1!!!! :D talk about excitement!!

Sadie's was also lots of fun!! I took Jeremy seeing as it was going to be the last dance I would have a chance to take him too before his mission. I doubled with Rachel Thompson and her date Robert...something...I looked up his last name in the yearbook, but I can't remember it now :S oh well...We went Classic Skating first which was way fun, but also very tireing and sweaty. Then to Rachel's house for a delicious dinner and changing into our Greace garb! It was fun to dress-up rather than doing the traditional t-shirts! I will have to try and post our pictures from the dance becasue they are going to be hilarious!! :) We had way to much fun with the whole thing! The guys ended up meshing really well and we laughed throughout the whole night. After the dance we went to my house for desert and then we took our dates home! (lol-Jeremy fell asleep on the way home ;) it was cute!)

Well, there is the low-down for anyone who even checks this blog anymore!! lol! At least I know Lauren will enjoy it! :D chow!

Crazy life of mine!

So I have been feeling bad that I haven't blogged in two ages...so I decided too!!! :) The below are not all the pictures I need to upload, but my camera and my father's camera decided to not work today, so you will have to wait on the other Homecoming that I went to pictures and Sadie's last week! Sorry!

Homecoming and my birthday, the main events on the slide show, were both so much fun!! :) It was exciteing to go to Homecoming the day before my birthday! A big thanks to Jerich for making it great! Not shown, my secound Homecoming and Sadie's were great as well! More on those later!

Life has been so hectic that I don't even know where to start! Most everyone who really cares already knows about my crazy life ;) but new developments...maybe not...:*( There is depressing new developements in the life of Chelsea Markham...I know...tragic *sob* but those of you who would really like to know can ask me in person or over email-I don't really want to make it public! Even though that's the point of blogs...right? Oh well!

This weekend was Fall Break! I got to go with my family to Park City, and it was a much need getaway from life in general! This week brings the end of the term-yikes! I am very scared for my grade in AP Calculus...but I guess we'll see...

Well, I have to go now! I love you all! Email! Chow!

Ed Week

hello everyone! I know I have been way bad at blogging lately, but I'll try to be better! This last week as you all know...school started...bleah! But with school starting, it always also means BYU Education Week for me! I had so much fun with Kiersten and Maren Carr hanging out and listening to wonderful speakers like Ronald Gubler, John Bytheway, Brad Wilcox, and others! As many of you know there were...other reasons...why I...enjoyed this week...so much...:) Well, with all the new things going on I have been very busy! I also got a haircut which I am starting to like more! Well, I better go-sorry so short, but I'll try to put a picture of ed week on here as soon as I can get my camera to be my friend! :) Bye!

Too Much Fun!

This Summer has been so crazy and fun!! Some major events being: Girls Camp, Stadium of Fire, and meeting/getting signatures of the top ten American Idol contestants at the concert here in Utah (thanks to the generosity of my Aunt Kaye!).

It has been so fun and BUSY!! The last three or four weeks have been non-stop fun and adventure! It started with the Fourth of July and going to see Miley Cyrus at the Stadium of Fire. The whole program was wonderful and I especially enjoyed the Blue Man Group! The next adventure was Girls Camp! It was fun this year because my mom got to come with me and we were tight throughout the whole week! The week after Girls Camp, my "Ant" Kaye, Uncle Eric, and cousins Rodney and Bradley came from Texas! Activities with them consisted of bowling, Lagoon, movies, shopping, the Stake Dance, and the American Idol concert! My Aunt Kaye was kind enough to let Forrest and I go to the concert with her! We went up to Salt Lake at 1:00 and got to get all of the top ten's signatures and pictures! We all got a picture with David Cook, but it's on my Aunt's camera so hopefully I'll get a copy of it sometime and I'll put it on! It was a fantastic concert and really fun!! This week my friends Holli and Kate came from Idaho and we've been having fun fun fun with them as well! This week has consisted of: Day One: Shopping for 4 or 5 hours, Day Two: Swimming at Sera Pool, Day Three: Boating with my ward and going on a date till 11:00 or so, Day Four: Lagoon for the second time in two weeks, Day Four: Pioneer Spectacular with the Osmond's.

As you can see my life has been crazy but tons of fun! I've gotten to do so much this summer and I'm very greatful for all the blessings and people in my life!

Bye bye Kitty's

Well....the kittens are gone!!! I really am going through withdraws....We gave away 4 at Macey's and one we gave to a family in our ward. I loved my kittens so much and I'm gonna miss um! So here is a fun slide show of our kittens and their mama Maggie! We loved Miracle, Salt and Pepper, Mini Maggie, Prince and Princess so much!! We will all miss them terribly!!

SAD DAY!!!!

Lauren Smith left on Thursday for Tahiti!!!! To see pics go to Megan's blog, but I just wanted to say that I will miss my bball buddy!! And if she ends up reading this...there have already been so many times that I've wanted to txt or call you about something exciting or frustrating (like my dad and mom letting me drive my grandpa to Provo for his doctors appointment today!) I know we will all miss Lauren terribly, but I'm sure she will have a wonderful and powerful experience while she is in Tahiti! (And just remember how good of a tan she'll have when she gets back...then maybe you won't be so sad! JK!)

Books, Books, and More Books!

Wow!!! Busy, busy days!! I have spent most of my day today entering in books at ksl.com for my grandpa--mostly art books--and it has taken FOREVER!! I am getting paid for it, but still, entering in stuff on the computer can become quite tedious! We've also been sorting through all of the stuff (and junk) that he has in his basement and we have many, many more books to go...I bet thousands!! Well, if any of you have parents or know other people who would like to buy art or religious books, tell them to go onto ksl.com!

Choir Tour

Yay! Choir Tour!!! I finally got some pictures up of Choir Tour this school year! I had such an amazing time making new friends and getting to know people better! It was such a fun and amazing experience. We got to go to some cathedrals, gardens, old streets and shops, UNLV, drive by the strip, and go to DISNEYLAND!!! It was such a fun and amazing time! I am already excited and planning for next year!!

SUMMER!!!

Wow! It has been quite some time since I have last blogged. I was admiring Megan and her up-to-date blog and got envious. So I have now decided to try and keep up with my blog...don't hold me to the promise though! I really would like to get some photos that I took of my trip to Florida and Choir Tour on here, but I'll have to do that latter seeing as I'm about to go on a walk with my mother.

Here is my beautiful kitty Maggie and her 5 little kittens! They are her pride and joy and our play things!! This picture was taken the day they were born (sorry for the blood stains) but they are a lot bigger now! I'll try and get a good one of them now--they are so playful!

I'm going to Preference on Friday! I am WAYYYYY excited! I have an absolutely amazing dress. It is brown with an under layer of polka-dots! I also have some cute new shoes and I'm making some jewelry to match. I'll make sure to put pictures on here afterwards! (btw-I'm going with Drew Daybell)

Let's see...anything else exciting? Easter's tomorrow! That means the easter bunny is coming, so that's fun! I'm hoping to get some good chocolate to satisfy my chocolate needs!

*NEWS FLASH*
EVERYONE MUST GO SEE/RENT AUGUST RUSH
It is pretty much my new favorite show. For those of you who didn't like it-oh well, but I thought it was absolutely amazing and VERY powerful! I'm still trying to convince my mom to buy it for me...:)

Well, I think that's about it for now folks! I'll try to keep more up to date from now on...but defiantly no promises! I hope all your end of terms went well and that you have a perfectly wonderful Easter!

Melody of My Mind

"My mind works like a jukebox playing the soundtrack of my heart."

This is my new favorite quote! And guess what...I made it up! : ) It really explains how my mind works though. I'll be going through something in life and immediately I will have a song constantly stuck in my head that explains how I feel (to a point). So I thought I'd share my lovely new quote with ya'll and see if anyone elses mind works that way, or maybe I'm just weird! Loves!

Giggle

I just finished reading Nani's amazing blog and know I could never come close to competeing with her brilliance! : ) I advise you all to read it and enjoy!

Well, since I can't be that creative in the limited time I have to blog, so I'll let someone else be creative! Here is a poem from my day by day calendar that I really liked! Enjoy!

Rhapsody
I am glad daylong for the gift of song,
For time and change and sorrow;
For the sunset wings and the world-end things
Which hangs on the edge of tomorrow.
I am glad for my heart whose gates apart
Are the entrance-place of wonders,
Where dreams come in from the rush and din
Like sheep from the rains and thunders.

School, Tests, Ouchies...(oh my!) hee hee!

Hello everyone! Are you hating going back to school as much as I have? I bet you are! : ) I have so many finals, assignments...AHHHHH! It's been crazy, and it's just gonna get even crazier! But hopefully I'll be able to pull off all A's again this term : Z

My cousins left yesterday to go back to TX. : ( That was sad. We've had fun hanging out with them, but they had to get back for school (lucky them get a longer break...but I heard we get a longer one next year! ; ) I hope that's true!).

Something not so good that happened...I sprained my ankle at my basketball game yesterday (All three teams won though! Yay!). : ( It is so depressing because I won't be able to play in my game tomorrow unless by a miracle! Sad day! I'll live though and hopefully be able to play next week!
